About us

Our story

A Global
Bridal Brand

Preciosa Diva is born out of a dream of two San Francisco Bay Area-Peninsula Latinas.

Griselda Gonzalez is a South San Francisco/Colma entrepreneur. She loves fashion, sewing, crafting and anything related to party and event planning.

Mia Garcia is a proud entrepreneur and owns multiple businesses in South San Francisco. Her travels and love for fashion fueled this new venture.

Together we are bringing designer dresses to Northern California bridesmaids and anyone looking for a prom or special occasion dress.

Our inventory of new, original designer dresses and “new to you” original designer dresses makes partying in style accessible to women sizes 0-18!

Our dresses were formerly owned by “Vow to be Chic”, a Santa Monica based bridesmaid dress rental company. Unfortunately, the business had to shut down, but LUCKY for you, we were able to pick up the bulk of their inventory and now you can save TONS of money, with original designer dresses that are priced well below retail prices. You can read about the “Vow to be Chic” in the article below, and visit their Pinterest page (yes, it is still active!) here: https://www.pinterest.com/vowtobechic/

What we do

Special Occasion and
Bridesmaid Dresses

So, back to Preciosa Diva:

We have “new” and “new to you” dresses, at incredible, really ridiculous prices. All sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges. Because we have a SET inventory, we are not able to substitute or replace items once your sale is done. The dress you buy may be the only one in inventory so we are not able to place holds. If you see something you like, GRAB it, because it may not be there tomorrow!

We hold a large inventory of dresses by some of the most popular, high end bridesmaid, special occasion and party dress designers. Our beautiful dresses are made by Jenny Yoo, Donna Morgan, Watters & Watters, Theia, Dessy, Monique Lhuillier, Nicole Miller, Pamella Roland and others.

Why Preciosa Diva?

Preciosa means Precious in Spanish. Our aim is to empower women of all sizes to find that beautiful dress for that special occasion. The word “Diva” can sometimes have a negative feel about it, as an entitled, difficult or temperamental person. We own our bodies, our beauty and our style. Reclaiming this word as to show confidence, self-reliance and resilience is the meaning we are attaching to our name.
